Ok. I got pod'd yesterday. I'm 8 months on Eve and this aint the first time but I want to complain. Is this the correct forum? I want everyone to know who these guys are so you can avoid them.
I was ratting in .4 system and a guy enters. I called out to him asking if he's a pirate (.23 sec stats). He says no - it's ok to rat. 1/2 hour ltr a badass shows up and the first guy and badass tackle me. My 1 warp stab was not enough to bail out.
I surrendered. They wanted ISK which I delivered. They STILL pod'd me!
Ok I am not naive and will no longer trust anyone but I'm looking for retribution. I want everyone to know these guys are liars and cheats. I wnat to post their ID's so others will know.
Can I do that here? Where else then? Why is there no place to complain when some one is a total a-hole? Where are the good people? Why aren't the good people out hunting the trash low-lifes so it has more equalibrium in EVE?

To all of the complete morons replying here, there are ways to rat in lo-sec w/o problems. I've ratted for months on lo-sec after doing some homework and practicing a few guidelines of caution. THis was the first time I was flat-out lied to b4 and after being attacked. I beleived that a ransom was a way out and now I know it is not. I will from now on tell everyone, everywhere I go: NOT TO PAY ANY RANSOMES. EVER. Screw it. To all the babies out there afraid to rat lo-sec, because you think you know more than I - I had 120mil ISK after only 4 months on EVE w/o a Corp. Suk on that!

Well well well. You complete boob. The point of the whole discussion was whether a ransom was worthy of pyaing.
If you are a pirate - tell all of your pirate *****s two things: 1) More and more people will not pay ransom because it is not honored and 2) I will hunt you and all of your low-life pirate ***** freinds and pod you. Please copy down my name so you remember me so I can enjoy your loss of craft and ISK. I will enjoy it.

2nd, how the hell do you get podded in lowsec? Do you really not know that you can warp a pod almost instantly? In the future, pick a spot to warp too after you're sure you cant get away, and spam warp to on the overview, you don't lose your precious pod, and it ****es off the wannbe necros...
Snore. You and all of you girls and boys of limited experince do not understand my rant. I KNEW WHERE I WAS. I KNEW the RISKS. Iunderstood the circumstance. I just thought that once you pay a ransome you are free. I was wrond this time. Guess what meathead? I heard from the ahole pirate a few days ago and he admitted he didn't know I paid the ransom because of confusion between to the two attackers. He paid the ransom back to me.
SO PLEASE UNDERSTAND HOW INSIGNIFICANT YOU ARE AND HOW UNIMPORTANT YOUR OPINION IS. Eventually you will either get this or remain a person that doesn't realize how often people are politely avoiding you in social circumstances. |
